Biography:
Dr. Aki Puryear is a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. He is a member of the SLUCare Physician Group. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also an Instructor of Orthopedic Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Puryear takes special interest in adolescent idiopathic, congenital and neuromuscular scoliosis, kyphosis and spondylolisthesis.
He specializes in skeletal dysplasia, muscle diseases, cerebral palsy, clubfeet, limb deformity and pediatric hip disease and fractures.
Dr. Puryear was recognized as one of the best doctors in St. Louis Magazine eight years in a row, 2009-2016.
