Biography:
Ashley Ali, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and is an assistant professor at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Ali has a special clinical interest in treating patients facing sports medicine injuries, offering operative and non-operative care for injuries to the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. She treats fractures, growth plate injuries in children, and problems of the joints, tendons and ligaments.
Dr. Ali uses advanced techniques in her practice, including minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery, total shoulder replacement and reverse total shoulder replacement, reconstructive surgeries, tendon repair, cartilage restoration and more. In addition, she offers platelet rich plasma cartilage and meniscus transplantation, as well as quadriceps autograft ACL reconstruction.
Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.
