Biography:
Benjamin Chao is a board certified doctor of osteopathy practicing in family medicine. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of California in Riverside, CA and earned his doctor of osteopathy degree from Des Moines University – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, IA. Dr. Chao completed his residencies in family medicine at Unity Point Trinity in Bettendorf, IA and at Monroe Clinic – University of Illinois in Rockford, IL.
Chao's practice is focused on management of chronic disease, coordination of care, urgent care, pediatrics, dermatological biopsies and excisions, joint injections for joint pain and trigger point injections for low back and/or neck pain.
Dr. Chao is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Association. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
In his free time, Dr. Chao enjoys reading, watching movies, cycling, and cooking.
