Biography:
Corinne Tan, MD, is a board-certified pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. She serves as an associate professor of pediatric cardiothoracic surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
She sees patients from birth into adulthood, specializing in congenital cardiac surgery from neonatal and infantile repairs to adults in need of reoperations.
Dr. Tan attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed her training in prominent institutions around the country including two pediatric fellowships – one in congenital cardiac surgery and another in surgical critical care, both from Boston Children’s Hospital.
I believe in transparency with my patients and families. They should have access to information about their child’s illness and the thought process behind why a procedure is recommended and the risks moving forward.
