Breastfeeding Class

Designed for mothers and significant family members to learn more about breastfeeding. This interactive, virtual class includes information on how the breast makes milk, establishing a good milk supply, avoiding sore nipples and nurturing the breastfeeding family. 

The classes are only held in-person. BY REGISTERING FOR THIS IN-PERSON CLASS, YOU ARE AGREEING TO WEARING A SURGICAL GRADE MASK (AVAILABLE UPON ENTRY) AND FOLLOWING SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES OUTLINED BY THE HOSPITAL.

REGISTRATION NOTES:

• Please put ALL maternity registrations in the expectant mother's name, because the fee is per couple or individual registrant. Do not register guests.
• Recipients of Home State, Healthy Blue or United Healthcare Community insurance must call to register for classes. Inform the operator when calling. With the proper claim submitted, classes are free.
• SSM Health employees should call to register for classes. Inform the operator when calling.
• SSM Health clinic patients should contact the clinic to request the proper documentation to register for classes. Inform the operator when calling. With the proper claim submitted, classes are free or half off. Refunds will be granted for cancelled programs only.
