The gastroenterology team at SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group in Monroe, strives to minimize each patient's uncertainty, providing real digestive health answers with compassion and thoroughness. We specialize in treating all areas of the digestive tract, liver and pancreas for all ages. Our patients are treated for a variety of gastrointestinal issues including dyspepsia/indigestion, swallowing difficulty, gastric reflux or heartburn, abdominal pain, ulcers, diarrhea, cancer relating to the digestive organs, jaundice, nausea and gastritis.

We collaborate with your primary care physicians and other specialists as needed, and if surgery is indicated, we work closely with your surgeon to achieve the best outcome.

On SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group's main campus, gastroenterology is located on the first floor of the building.

COVID-19 Visitor Guidelines

Patients are allowed two visitors at a time that meet the following criteria:

• Must be over 16 years of age.
• Required to cover their nose and mouth with a face covering at all times. This is without exception.
• Inpatient patients must test negative before they are allowed visitors.
• Exceptions will be made for compassionate care.
