Biography:
Jafar Kafaie, MD, is a board-certified neurologist at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Additionally, he’s an assistant professor at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kafaie treats adults and children with neurological, neuromuscular and muscle diseases, including muscular dystrophy and inflammatory myositis. He cares for patients with neuromuscular junction disorder, peripheral neuropathy, and motor neuron diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease) and spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
He is a member of the American Association of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
