Biography:
Jessica Vaughan is a board certified nurse midwife. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN and earned her BSN from Johns Hopkins University of School in Baltimore, MD. She completed her doctor of nursing practice degree in midwifery-nursing at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing in Minneapolis, MN.
Vaughan’s practice is focused on continuous labor support, adolescent pregnancy, contraception, and lactation support.
Vaughan is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists. She is board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
In her time away from work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, playing fetch with
her dog, water sports, yoga, listening to podcasts, and reading. She is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
My practice is based on shared decision-making, where I offer education and evidence-based
practice options to my patient, and we jointly make a decision that best fits the patient's
