Dr. John Peter is an emergency medicine physician at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. He is a member of the SLUCare Physician Group. He is also Professor of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and serves as the medical director of the Transport Team for the Division of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Peter provides hospital-based pediatric emergency care, with special expertise in pediatric critical care transport. He has particular interest in pediatric trauma and in transport efficiency and safety for young patients.

Additionally, Dr. Peter is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
