Biography:
Joy Thompson is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner practicing in obstetrics and gynecology. She obtained her Bachelor of Science-Nursing from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI and earned her Master of Science-Nursing at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH.
Joy’s medical interests include mental health, prenatal and postpartum care, family planning, peri menopause and menopause.
Joy is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrical, and Neonatal Nurses, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, and Postpartum Support International. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In her free time, Joy enjoys music (piano, singing), gardening, art, nature, reading, kayaking, and biking.
