Karen Pugh, MD, MPH, is a board-certified pediatrician who provides care to patients age newborn to 21 years. She received both her medical degree and master’s degree in public health from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency from SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
Before joining SSM Health Medical Group, Dr. Pugh practiced outpatient pediatrics at Wards Corner Pediatrics in Norfolk, Virginia. Her special medical interests include adolescent medicine and preventative medicine.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Being a St. Louis native, Dr. Pugh is excited to be returning home to raise her two young sons with her husband, Dr. Jackson Pugh, a family medicine physician. She enjoys spending time with her growing family, playing basketball and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
