Biography:
Kwadwo Achampong is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and practices as a pain medicine physician. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, IA. He completed his residency in anesthesiology from the University of Illinois Hospital System in Chicago, IL and his fellowship in pain medicine from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
Achampong's practice is focused on pain management. He is specifically interested in neuromodulation as well as psychological and physical rehabilitation.
Dr. Achampong is a member of the American Pain Society and the American Medical Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Achampong participates in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, soccer, basketball, and other sports. He is always interested in trying new activities and looks forward to the winter adventures that Madison has to offer.
