Loren Abernathy, MSN, RN, CPNP, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University.

Loren has additional training and certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and has a special clinical interest in wound care and ostomy care.

"My mission includes providing excellent patient care to pediatric general surgery patients by utilizing evidence-based practice to facilitate outcomes while also providing patient education to families."
