Biography:
Michael Czajka, APRN, CNP, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner for the division of pediatric cardiology at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. He received both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and his Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University.
Michael sees patients from birth to 21 years old and is the study coordinator for multi-center research related to children born with anomalous aortic origin of a coronary artery.
Additionally, Michael specializes in pulmonary hypertension in children with congenital heart disease. He also assists with cardioversions and defibrillations as well as patients undergoing pericardiocentesis and pericardial drain placement,
My mission is to assist in the management of children born with congenital heart disease. I strive to be a voice for my patients when they are hospitalized and am the continuity of care for both my patients and their families.
