Biography:
Dr. Eyad Alsabbagh treats patients for cirrhosis, autoimmune hepatitis and acute and chronic hepatitis, hepatocellular carcinoma, fatty and alcoholic liver diseases. He is a SLUCare Physician Group provider and specializes in liver transplantation and esophageal varices and portal hypertension.
Dr. Alsabbagh is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
He holds memberships in the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease, Cochrane Hepato-Biliary Group, and the Syrian American Medical Society. He also serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Gastrointestinal Disorders and Liver Function, and the Liver Research-Open Journal.
