Biography:
Paul Greblo is a licensed psychologist who works with a wide variety of patients. His training was focused in behavioral medicine, the interface between medical and psychological issues. He enjoys seeing individuals dealing with such issues as chronic pain and headaches, gastrointestinal distress, weight management, and multiple sclerosis. He works closely with Sleep Medicine physicians on issues pertaining to insomnia and other sleep disturbances. Neuropsychological testing with individuals suspected of having ADD/ADHD and with cognitive complaints such as memory loss is an area of interest for Dr. Greblo. An additional target of his work includes stress management treatment (including for a variety of anxiety and depressive concerns). Anger management, either through individual therapy or a group therapy option, is an area of therapeutic work that Dr. Greblo has been engaged in for many years.
A collaborative approach is emphasized in treatment, with modalities of therapy including cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal therapies, as well as biofeedback-assisted relaxation strategies.
Dr. Greblo received his education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (BS in psychology) and The Ohio State University (MA and PhD degrees in clinical psychology). He completed a clinical internship at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida and subsequently transitioned to a post-doctoral fellowship with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine (McLaren Hospital) in Flint, Michigan. He has been employed at SSM Health – Dean Medical Group since 1998.
