Biography:
Dr. Philippe Mercier is a neurosurgeon with SLUCare Physician Group at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, where he is the neurosurgeon-in-chief. He is also an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
His clinical expertise is in epilepsy surgery, neuro-oncology, spine surgery, hydrocephalus and spasticity surgery. He provides comprehensive care using the latest medical advancements, including image-guided stereotactic surgery and endoscopic cranial surgery. He also performs minimally invasive spine surgery.
Dr. Mercier is a member of the American Association of Neurosurgery, the Congress of Neurological Surgery and the American Epilepsy Society.
