Biography:
Dr. Pournima Navalkele is board certified in pediatrics at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
She is a member of the
SLUCare Physician Group.
Clinical interests for Dr. Navalkele include newly diagnosed brain tumors, genetic syndromes such as Neurofibromatosis, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex with brain tumors, relapsed/recurrent brain tumors and participating in clinical trials.
Dr. Navalkele graduated from Grant Medical College and completed her residency at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Additionally, she has completed two fellowships: Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and Pediatric Neuro-Oncology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Navalkele is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology.
