Biography:

Dr. Renuka Peterson is the Director of the Pediatric Echocardiography Lab at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the SLUCare Physician Group. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Cardiology.

She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She completed medical school at Harvard Medical School and completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Additionally, she completed her fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of California in Los Angeles.

Dr. Peterson has special interests in non-invasive imaging for fetal and transesophageal echocardiography, exercise physiology, and cardiopulmonary testing.
