Biography:
Dr. Scott Kaar, a member of the SLUCare physician group, is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in both adult and pediatric sports medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in Orthopedic Surgery. He is also the Director of Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery Services at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, as well as an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Kaar takes special interest in knee, shoulder, and hip and elbow arthroscopy, reconstruction of the ligaments of the knee, preservation and impingement surgery of the hip, and Achilles tendon and metatarsal fracture repair.
Dr. Kaar is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
