Biography:
Sivashanmugam Raju, MD, is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with SLUCare Physician Group at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Raju completed both medical school and residency program at Madras Medical College in Chennai, India and completed a pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship at Lousianna State University and a sports medicine fellowship at Wake Forest University.
Dr. Raju has a special interest in hip preservation surgery and pediatric sports injuries. He sees patients with musculoskeletal conditions, such developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), congenital limb deformities and osteomyelitis.
He is a member of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, the AO Foundation and the Indian Orthopedic Association.
