Biography:
Burton Copleand is board certified in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, OK. He secured his master's and PhD and earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Urbana, IL. Dr. Copeland completed his internship and residency in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry and his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI.
Copeland's practice is focused on childhood anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder in children.
Dr. Copeland is a member of the American Academy of Childhood Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Medical Association, and the American Psychiatric Association.
In his free time, Dr. Copeland enjoys hiking and wandering through the woods with his family, singing and paying the piano, fishing, gardening, and rock hunting.
