Biography:
Ugo Nwankwo, MD, is quadruple board-certified in pediatrics, internal medicine, pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease. He specializes in congenital interventional cardiology at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and serves as an assistant professor of pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Nwankwo sees patients of all ages and specializes in cardiac catheterization, congenital cardiac interventions, general pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease.
Dr. Nwankwo attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed his med/peds residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The most important aspect of patient care is making every effort to ensure an optimal outcome for the patient.
