Biography:
Dr. Wilson King is a pediatric cardiologist at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. He is a member of the SLUCare Physician Group. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatrics. He is also an assistant professor of Pediatric Cardiology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
He specializes in pulmonary hypertension in children, echocardiography, and cardiovascular magnetic resonance. He treats patients with a variety of pediatric conditions, which include: congenital heart disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, aneurysms, aortic disease, Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, mitral valve prolapse, and heart failure.
Dr. King is interested in the research of mitral valve disease and 3-D reconstruction of cardiac imaging. He also is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
